Another great win for our U13 team as they played at home against Erin go Bragh. Despite a strong cross wind, the lads didn’t take long to get scores on the board, with 2:2 for the Geese in the first fifteen minutes. The pressure was on the visiting team from the start, with our forwards keeping the play in their half. Despite strong defending from Erin Go Bragh, great passing, flow of play and team effort from the Geese meant it was a one sided affair. Our team took full advantage to rotate players and ensure our full team were involved throughout the match. A very strong midfield and half back line for the Geese, resulted in very few threats throughout the game. The lads were ably supported by some of our U11 players who contributed to the score line and the final score was 4:7 to 0:0 when the whistle blew. The team continue to look for new players to join - some of the great skills on display today came from our newer team members, so why don’t you come down on Wednesdays and try it out.
