QUACK QUACK 🦆:

We are excited to launch our first major fundraiser of 2022.

Our duck race will take place on Easter Saturday April 16th.

We have been planning the event for a long time but Covid-19 had a habit of getting in the way!😅

The duck race will happen in the river at Fieldstown Bridge.

The first 5 ducks to cross the finishing line will win fantastic cash prizes.

The top prize for the winning duck will be €1000💰💰.

The 2nd placed duck will win €500.

3rd placed wins €300.

While 4th and 5th win €100 each.

After the event, there will be a family Easter egg hunt for all the kids from our juvenile sections and wider community to take part in. Maybe the adults might join in too😉🍫.

The venue of the egg hunt will be confirmed soon.

This event will be a fun filled day and one that the whole family will enjoy!🥳

So, how do you take part?

You simply buy a duck. Each duck will be assigned a number close to the time of the race. If the duck with your number on it, crosses the finishing line in the top 5 places, you win a prize!

As we launched this duck race event 2 years ago, just weeks before the pandemic begun, some people have already bought ducks. All of these people are already entered and their duck will be part of the big race.
