Goodbye for now 👋🏻
This weekend sees the last matches played on our current playing surface as it is. The pitch has been home to some remarkable games right the way from the juvenile section, schools matches, camogie and hurling games and men’s and ladies football contests.
It will remain our home in the years to come but with the addition of a brand new top quality playing surface for all to enjoy.
We will have a temporary home going forward and works will begin next week to move goalposts etc to our temporary playing facility. More detail on this will follow soon.
Our pitch development begins in early April. This means that the pitch grounds will be inaccessible for over a year while works are completed.
A big thank you to all who have helped to get us this far. Our executive committee and pitch development sub committee have worked tirelessly to get us here. To our members and community members, your donations through fundraisers over the last few years have gotten us to this stage. Thank you.
A bright future is in store for our great club ⭐️.
Our under 13s play the final juvenile game at the pitch at 1.30 today.
Our last adult fixture on the current pitch is the ladies camogie team. They play Erin’s Isle at home tomorrow at 1.30. Get out and cheer on the teams and savour the current playing area one last time!🖤🧡
